On May 27 and 28, 50 guests and representatives of Ukrainian communities from 20 countries in Europe attended the XIV Congress of the European Congress of Ukrainians in Berlin.
The Congress emphasised the communities' commitment to strengthening international cooperation and networking between European organisations in the fight against Russian influence.
The Congress discussed the development of the projects of the ECU working groups (diplomatic, public, humanitarian, and information) as well as the organisation’s regional platforms.
Young organisations from Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, Moldova, Montenegro, FYR Macedonia, and Georgia presented their respective initiatives.
New organisations were integrated within the ECU as members, and the ECU new leadership was elected.
Together with partners from the Ukrainian Security and Cooperation Center, the ECU will establish a representative office in Ukraine and expand the operations of the office in Brussels.
The Congress was organised with the support of the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD).

27-28 травня у Берліні відбувся XIV З’їзд Європейського Конгресу Українців, в якому взяли участь 50 представників українських громад Європи та гості організації. Під час нарад підкреслено інтерес громад підсилювати мережування організацій в Європі, а також координації на міжнародному рівні для протидії російським впливам. Обговорено розвиток дій робочих груп ЕКУ (дипломатичної, громадської, гуманітарної, інформаційної) і регіональних платформ організації. Під час З’їзду представили свою діяльність молоді організації, наприклад, з Німеччини, Чехії, Польщі, Молдови, Чорногорії, П.Македонії та Грузії. Обрано нове керівництво організації та прийнято нові організації у його склад. ЕКУ у співпраці з партнерами з Українського центру безпеки та співпраці відкриє представництво в Україні і підсилить роботу офісу в Брюсселі. Захід відбувся із підтримкою організації ICMPD. Подяка надається Посольству України в Німеччині та українським організаціям Німеччини.
